What is Cliff Diving?
Cliff Diving is an impressive and extreme sport of diving from natural heights, usually cliffs, without the use of equipment such as boards or platforms.
Athletes perform impressive tricks and spins in the air before landing in the water with precision and grace.
The origins of cliff diving date back to the traditions of 18th century Hawaii, while today it is one of the most popular extreme sports in the world, with international competitions and millions of spectators.

Event Location
Agios Nikolaos in Lassithi, with its unique natural landscape and the deep lagoon of Lake Voulismeni, has emerged as an international destination for cliff diving.
The steep geomorphology and natural beauty of the area offer ideal conditions for practicing the sport.

- «Cliff Diving Agios Nikolaos» is planning a major communication program that includes:
- 1) Communication Sponsors at the local level (Crete), from radio, television and sites.
- 2) Major communication sponsors from major national television, radio networks, national news and sports sites
- 3) Display on international tourism, sports, extreme sports and other sites.
- 4) Social media communication campaigns.
- 5) International television sites with live broadcasts of the event.
- 6) Production of a 30-minute documentary, after the match, with the aim of showing it on international television networks.
